Cornelia has spent a career at the forefront of technological innovation, starting with image processing algorithm development, moving to web-centric computing in the late 1990s, and then more than a decade working in cloud-native software and DevOps platforms. As a Developer Advocate for Temporal, she is now helping to drive the expansion of the “durable execution” distributed systems paradigm, in AI and beyond.
She is the author of Cloud Native Patterns: Designing change tolerant software.

Building durable AI Agents with Temporal + Versioning Temporal Workflows - Python
ABSTRACT
This full-day workshop covers two essential Temporal topics through hands-on exercises. In the morning you’ll build production-ready AI agents that seamlessly engage humans and can run for extended periods. We will explore both the use of Agent SDKs (i.e. OpenAI, Pydantic, etc.) and native Temporal implementations.
In the afternoon you’ll explore various versioning strategies for safely evolving Workflows and Workers in production, including deployment practices, Worker routing, and emergency remediation techniques.
