Temporal and Autonomous Vehicles Infrastructure at Nvidia

Nvidia is building an end-to-end hardware and software stack for Autonomous Vehicles. This includes AV Infra related to AI Training, AV Simulation, etc.

AV Simulation involves running the AV stack in simulation to verify its behavior. We have developed a purpose-built solution to test and verify the behavior of the AV Stack, leveraging Temporal as a key underling Technology.

Jeremy Cook is a Software Engineer at Nvidia working on the core autonomous vehicle simulation platform within the AV organization. He brings nine years of experience in the automotive industry, starting in transmission controls, with six years specifically in autonomous vehicles. A seasoned Temporal user with over five years of experience with the platform, he specializes in building robust and scalable orchestration solutions. He is particularly excited about how new physical AI simulation capabilities will accelerate advancements in complex physical systems.
Matt is an Engineer on the AV Infra team at Nvidia. The team has built a product called TestStudio, which uses Temporal to orchestrate the execution of millions of Robotics/AV Simulations a day, on Nvidia GPUs.
