Temporal has been a critical technology within Netflix for 6 years, but it has been a long journey to finally becoming generally available within our Paved Road for all engineers to use. In this talk, I’ll recount this grassroots journey, including the organizational challenges, and review lessons learned while offering tips for driving technology change within a large enterprise.
