He is a 20-year veteran of AWS, Microsoft and Uber engineering leadership, having worked on Amazon Simple Workflow Service from inception and led development of the Durable Task Framework at Azure, and then co-creating Cadence (Temporal’s predecessor) at Uber. Today, millions of Temporal workflows are run daily for high reliability and high scalability workloads from Stripe to Datadog to Snapchat.

Amjad Masad is a Jordanian American entrepreneur and engineer. He founded Replit, a cloud-based AI-powered software development platform, and one of the fastest growing developer communities in the world. Prior to his role at Replit, Amjad worked at Facebook, where he led the JavaScript infrastructure team and contributed to popular open-source developer tools. Additionally, he played a key role as a founding engineer at Codecademy, a prominent online coding school.

Venkat Venkataramani is VP of Platform Infrastructure at OpenAI, where he leads the systems and infrastructure powering large-scale AI workloads. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of Rockset, a real-time indexing database company. His work focuses on building durable, highly scalable platforms that support agentic systems operating at massive scale.
