Confidently Shipping with Temporal: A Look at Our Evolving Engineering Process and Internal Tooling

Learn how we smoothly incorporated Temporal into our codebase, established guardrails for safe production releases, and built internal tooling to ship with confidence. We’ll detail our use of custom tooling built to facilitate increased adoption of Temporal across the organization by enabling teams to become self-sufficient when leveraging Temporal.

Anastasiya Melentyeva is a Senior Software Engineer at Xero, an accounting platform for small businesses. For the past two years, she has been working closely with the .NET Temporal SDK, helping to adopt Temporal into Xero’s systems. Anastasiya spends much of her time supporting other developers as they adopt the technology. By sharing internal best practices and building tools to make the adoption easier, she aims to simplify the development of complex workflows and help her colleagues feel more confident using Temporal in their own projects.
Hudson (AKA Bubba) is a Software Engineer for Xero, based in Toronto, Canada. At Xero, he leverages Temporal to build asynchronous data-pipelines to help Bookkeepers and Small Business owners ingest large amounts of financial documents at scale. He's passionate about making software that cuts down on admin time to let people focus on what they actually want to be doing!
