Block needed an agent workflow system that could handle complex tool integrations, maintain rich session context, and support multiple products — all built quickly. We’ll share how we used Temporal to create agent workflows capable of recurring tasks, how we migrated from sync to async workflows, as well as how we tackled challenges like scheduling nuances and and non-determinism in tests.
